Once you have left the steep road behind you, the view from the Veglia basin is truly breath-taking!
Here, nature has remained unspoilt and the high peaks we can admire (including Monte Leone 3,553 m – the highest of the peaks in the Lepontine Alps) seem to be within our grasp.
