Did you know that Camping Village Conca D’Oro is located inside the Fondotoce Nature Reserve? Nowadays there is an increasing need to share, preserve and respect the environment that surrounds us, teaching our children the principles of eco-sustainability.
Camping Village Conca D’Oro would like to focus more and more attention on this issue, even through small daily practices in the workplace and awareness-raising initiatives to be undertaken together with our guests!
Did you know, for example, that the water from the taps on the whole campsite is perfectly drinkable and that over 50% of the total amount of hot water you use comes from renewable sources and in particular from the green technology of the solar panels placed on the roofs of all the sanitary buildings on the campsite?
Let’s preserve a precious gift like water for our future and take care to minimise energy consumption and the consequent environmental impact! How?
Turning off lights and air conditioners in accommodation or vehicles when not strictly necessary or keeping doors and windows closed when turning on air conditioners. We have grown up with the certainty that all we have to do is turn on a tap and water will flow in plenty! It does not happen everywhere, it is not the case for everyone and it may not be the same forever!
Did you know that Italy collects and recycles 76.9% of its waste, against an EU average of 37%? Thanks to our policy and your help, we are able to successfully recycle more than 80% of all waste produced within the campsite. That’s why it is so important that the rules of waste disposal and waste separation in the waste bins are followed as precisely as possible!
Camping with children? In July and August Camping Village Conca D’Oro offers the usual entertainment programme, which from 2021 will be enhanced by lots of green-themed educational activities to involve children and raise their awareness of ecology and the environment!
