The first people who colonized these valleys came from the nearby Canton Valais in Switzerland in search of new land in which to settle. In time they gave life to communities that remained independent for many centuries, able to survive on agriculture and breeding at over 1300 meters of altitude and in adverse environmental conditions.
Here we are at today’s excursion! Camping Village Conca D’Oro takes you to Alpe Meccia, which was one of the very first temporary high-altitude settlements.
While enjoying a good glass of wine with our guide, we will admire the superb peaks of Monterosa, which stand out in all its magnificence from the alps clearing.
Experience the best that our lake has to offer and discover the itineraries and the most beautiful places in this area. The result will be an unforgettable adventure that will leave you with an indelible memory. Sign up and come with us! Ask for information at the reception desk and prepare your trekking shoes!
